It been mas two long since I made post last!

My sketch book has been out of town for the last couple of months trying to get me into a computer graphics/animation school, so that is my excuse for not posting more regularly. Oddly though, I feel more comfortable drawing on the regular printer paper I nab from my work's epsons.

I made up a little story about a kid with a monster problem. Here are some ideas for monsters...I'm leaning toward the funny lookin multi-eyed blob in the lower left corner.

Here are the first batch of tries for my kid's book character...some are pretty embarrassing, but it took some time to switch out of "monsters and heroes" mode.

This is the final character I came up with for my kid's book.

These are some thumbnails for a kid's book I'm making.

This is a loin clothie enjoying some R and R after spearing the large snake-oid thing he's reclining against.

A spell casting Undead...rawr!

I saw a preview for a new wolfman movie coming out so I thought I'd better try to improve on the monster...He's looking pretty unoriginal at the moment, but I'm still working on it.

A spider faced baddie.

Just your classic hefty native, with a deep sea fish inspired head.

Hulk in the "catching a transit bus" pose.

Bit of a vertical format here...This dude's head is kinda hard to see but it is at lower end of the spine..He's leaning over.

My brother Tim showed me these crazy/huge palm crabs on youtube...so I made my own version.

Awesome as usual. Love the children's book idea, and them kid sketches are great. I have this kids book type idea in the works for the last year or so too, bout a kid who finds a genie in modern suburban america as opposed to old timey desert arabia. i'll have to put up some sketches

I've got an idea for a children's book (in Spanish) but its about a banana, an apple, a gypsy, a llama, a puritan, and a washbasin of some kind.
